Often times they will send you the repair material like the welding rod or scrap from other kayaks. you can also check with your local kayak shop to see if they have scrap pieces from other kayaks. We need to know where the crack is, from inside the kayak or canoe. this can be tricky, so use a pin to poke through the hull so you can mark the hole using a marker pen. when you have marked the holes, you will then know where the ends of the crack are.. Trob is right just weld it you can do it yourself or take it to a kayak shop and have it done. if you do it yourself you'll need some plactic from the yak or one like it, you can pick some up from most yak shops and you will need a soldering iron. i think if you go to malibu kayaks they have instructions on how to do it. i fix a few cracks and.
