We arrived around 10:00 am. hopkinton state park has a lot of parking and a very convenient row of concrete boat launching ramps for all non-motorized watercraft -this is in between a parking lot and a small boat rental shop -which also has public bathrooms. the water is very calm and easy to paddle in. it looked to be very deep in places.. Renting kayaks on hopkinton lake at hopkinton state park, provided by boating in boston, is a great way to enhance a summer afternoon. my son and his friend spent an hour cruising the lake - while i sat on shore and enjoyed the beautiful lake.. The hopkinton state park is very nice and spacious with many different things like boat rentals, hiking, picnic areas with grills and more! very nice park had walking trails two beaches boat rentals and was very clean i brought my dogs and hung out for the day.
