This is a conversion i made for my paddle boat on my flat bed trailer.it was something i just whipped up so we could go on a river float with my wife and daughter without having to load the boat. If you are asking how to get a paddle boat to the water from yout house, i'd recommend a small flatbed trailer like a red trailer that you can buy on ebay rather cheap (but you'll have to assemble it and that can take a couple of days). hope this helps!!!. Since the paddle wheel will be off the end of the trailer anyway, it should not be a problem when the boat is on the trailer. here a few of my sketches of the guide-on. the bunks are 8" from top to trailer frame..
